by Ranella Garay

Feliza Quevada, principal of Quezon National High School (QNHS), confirmed that a new four-storey building is to be erected.

The said building will soon serve the tenth grade students of QNHS, which is expected to be finished and ready to be occupied by the year 2021.

In addition to this, the computer laboratory building has been hypothesized to be able to accommodate up to 1200 students with its 24 classrooms.

The construction of the building started late April this year, replacing the now demolished Alcala building.

"Of course yung learning environment natin, ay kapag maganda, maaliwalas, at hindi madilim; syempre naman ay sisipagin yung mga bata na mag-aaral", Quevada stated.

She further elaborated that with this fresh environment, students may find it more inspiring to do heir school work and such, despite the adjustments as of now.

"Minaximize natin ang paggamit ng gymnasium at 'yung mga vacant rooms kung saan pwedeng doon muna sila. Hinanapan natin talaga sila ng lugar", she further elaborated.

According to Quevada, with a strict budget and schedule, itwill be highly possible for the building to be erected in eve less than two years time.
